Sky News host Rita Panahi has blasted “miserable moaners” who were offended by the GWS Giants players over their ‘Wacky Wednesday’ antics. The AFL received a complaint about the behaviour of players who had arrived at a hired venue dressed around the theme of "controversial couples". The costumes worn by players and the skits performed at the event were found to have breached AFL Rule 2.3(a), which relates to conduct unbecoming. One player, Josh Fahey, dressed as a former NRL player and simulated inappropriate acts on a sex doll. Ms Panahi said she is not defending the behaviour of the Giants players but pointed out nothing illegal took place at the celebrations. “Now the footy season may be over, but that doesn't mean the wokest sporting league in the country, the AFL and its sycophantic media, won’t be virtue signalling their teeny tiny hearts out at every given opportunity,” the Sky News host said. “Oh, yes, the miserable moaners have been out in force this week.”
