If you want to install a premium WordPress plugin that you need to upload please watch this video instead (https://youtu.be/JBxRuJVnMOY). How to install WordPress plugin with FTP will be subject of another video as well. This video will focus on how to install WordPress plugins found in the WordPress repository. All of these plugins are free, although some will have premium (paid) versions as well. Let's get stared. Log into your WordPress dashboard and then hover over Appearance in the left hand side admin menu. In the dropdown menu that appears select Plugins. On the next page you will see some of the featured plugins displayed. Using the navigation menu near the top of the page you can choose to see Popular, Recommended and Favorite plugins. The feature you will probably be using the most is the search feature near the top right. Here you can enter the name of a plugin you're searching for. You can also enter the name of the plugin author or a keyword that describes the type of plugin you want. Once you've found the plugin you want to install, all you have to do is click on "Install Now". Before you do so, I recommend that you backup all of your WordPress site files and the database so that you can recover your site if something goes wrong. You should also check to make sure that the plugin you are going to install is compatible with your version of WordPress. If a particular plugin is not shown as compatible with your version of WordPress that doesn't mean it won't work. It just means that the developer hasn't tested it in your version of WordPress, but it may work just fine. After clicking the Install Now button you will be asked to confirm your choice and then the plugin will install. Once installed you can click on the link that says Activate Plugin to activate it. Once activated you can play around with the plugin and take your website to the next level! I hope this information helps you!
