Delhi Pollution Breaking : मजदूरों को 10 हजार रुपये, Work from Home लागू | CM Rekha | Smog | AQI In view of the rising pollution levels in Delhi, the government has taken two major decisions to provide relief to the people. Construction work has been halted in the capital due to the poor air quality, causing hardship for construction workers. Taking this into account, the government has decided to directly transfer ₹10,000 to the bank accounts of all registered and verified construction workers in Delhi. This money will be disbursed through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) to ensure that the workers receive the assistance without any difficulty. The government stated that it is essential to provide financial support to the workers as long as construction work remains suspended. Under the second decision, 50% work from home has been made mandatory for all government and private offices in Delhi. This means that half of the employees will work from home, while the other half will come to the office. This will reduce the number of vehicles on the roads and help in curbing pollution. However, essential services such as healthcare have been exempted from this rule to avoid any inconvenience to the public.
