कन्नौज. उत्तर प्रदेश की कन्नौज पुलिस ने समाजवादी पार्टी के बड़े नेता और पूर्व ब्लॉक प्रमुख नवाब सिंह यादव को नाबालिग से दुष्कर्म के प्रयास के आरोपों में गिरफ्तार किया है. पुलिस ने रविवार रात नवाब सिंह यादव के डिग्री कॉलेज से उसे गिरफ्तार किया. इस मामले में पुलिस पॉक्सो एक्ट समेत गंभीर धाराओं में मुकदमा दर्ज करते हुए पीड़िता को मेडिकल के लिए भेजा है. जानकारी के मुताबिक तिर्वा क्षेत्र निवासी पीड़िता अपनी बुआ के साथ नौकरी मांगने के लिए नवाब सिंह यादव के चंदन सिंह डिग्री कॉलेज गई थी. बुआ का आरोप है कि नवाब सिंह ने मेडिकल कॉलेज में नौकरी दिलवाने की बात कही थी. बुआ का कहना है वह थोड़ी देर के लिए मौके से हटी तो नवाब सिंह ने भतीजी से रेप का प्रयास किया. जैसे ही वह पहुंची तो इसका विरोध किया और 112 डायल कर पुलिस बुलाई. जिसके बाद देर रात मौके पर पहुंची पुलिस ने नवाब सिंह यादव को गिरफ्तार कर लिया. नवाब सिंह यादव की गिरफ्तारी की सूचना मिलते ही सोमवार सुबह कोतवाली में समर्थकों की भीड़ जुट गई. जिसके बाद पुलिस ने सभी को समझाकर वहां से हटाया. जानकारी के मुताबिक गिरफ्तारी के दौरान एसपी अमित कुमार आनंद खुद मौजूद रहे. एसपी अमित कुमार आनंद ने बताया कि रविवार रत करीब डेढ़ बजे 112 पर सूचना मिली थी. जिसके बाद मौके पर पहुंची पुलिस ने आरोपी नवाब सिंह को हिरासत में मिला. पीड़िता की तहरीर पर सुसंगत धाराओं और पॉक्सो एक्ट में मुकदमा पंजीकृत किया गया है. मामले में अग्रिम कार्रवाई जारी है Kannauj. As soon as she reached there, she protested and called the police by dialling 112. After which the police reached the spot late at night and arrested Nawab Singh Yadav. As soon as the information of Nawab Singh Yadav's arrest was received, a crowd of supporters gathered in the police station on Monday morning. After which the police removed everyone from there after explaining them. According to the information, SP Amit Kumar Anand himself was present during the arrest. SP Amit Kumar Anand said that information was received on 112 at around 1.30 pm on Sunday night. After which the police reached the spot and found the accused Nawab Singh in custody. On the complaint of the victim, a case has been registered under relevant sections and POCSO Act.
