트럼프 1기 내각 하마평 무성…깅리치 국무•줄리아니 법무 물망 As balloons drop and Donald Trump celebrates his hard-fought victory, a select group of political and policy experts will hit the ground running, laying the groundwork for a full-on Trump administration. What will the Trump administration look like? Who will he hire for key posts? That's what many have their eyes fixed on. Pundits are carefully laying out speculations: our Kim Hyunbin reports. With some 70 days until Donald Trump occupies the Oval Office, focus now is on who will be part of his Cabinet. During Trump's victory speech, the Republican President-elect introduced some of his close aides widely viewed as the most probable to be nominated to top posts. Newt Gingrich, former speaker of the House of Representatives, is one of Trump's early supporters and has been tipped as the next top diplomat of Washington, or Secretary of State. Former New York City mayor Rudy Giuliani is one of Trump's most ardent surrogates and expected to be named Attorney General. Meanwhile, Chairman of the Republican National Committee Reince Priebus is seen as a possible candidate for the Chief of Staff position. Priebus has close relations with the current speaker of the house Paul Ryan and is seen to have potential to steer the new administration's legislative agenda. Also on the list is New Jersey governor Chris Christie, also among Trump's early supporters. Christie could be named as the Commerce Secretary. U.S. Alabama senator Jeff Sessions, who currently sits in the Armed Services Committee, the Judiciary Committee and the Budget Committee, is the likely candidate for the position of Secretary of Defense. And Michael Flynn, a retired three star Army general, is on the list of candidates to be Trump's National Security Advisor. Flynn helped Trump stay connected with veterans despite the candidate's lack of military service. Last on the list is Trump's finance chairman Steven Mnuchin, who Trump himself named as the Treasury Secretary. Kim Hyun-bin, Arirang News.
