Because how you wash them determines how well they will work. Microfiber cloths are not normal cloths. They have special fibers that help make cleaning easier but they are sensitive and should be treated with care. So let’s start with what you’re supposed to do. Which you guessed it is not easy. Using cool or warm water, Most manufacturers recommend you hand washing them and lay flat to dry. But honestly, who has time for that? So here is something more manageable! In a dedicated microfiber cloth wash cycle, add a very gentle detergent so it doesn’t leave a film and wash them on gentle or hand wash cycle using cool or warm water. To dry, use drawer balls because dryer sheets can leave a film and use the delicate or air dry setting to fluff them back to shape! Works like a charm!
