The Bradley has been in service for 40 years and has demonstrated that it can get the job done. Ignoring certain movies based on books, the Bradley's development was pretty interesting and, on more than one occasion, was canceled. I eventually would like to do a whole video on its development. With it being designed to replace the M113 and compete against the BMP, the M2 would only accomplish one of those goals. The M3, however, would completely replace the M114 it was designed to replace. There are, of course, more variants such as the M6 Linebacker and M7 FIST, but I ran out of time. The Bradley was also used as a base for the M270 MLRS and more recently for the AMPV program, which may finally replace the M113. Overall, the Bradley remains one of those interesting vehicles where it's not the best tool for the job, but it can get the job done! I normally don't use copyrighted footage but the FMC Corp. video is just too iconic to not use a little bit of it. Nothing beats a good 1980s military hype video! As always, thanks for watching!
