While speaking at the Faith and Freedom Coalition breakfast on Thursday, Speaker of the House Mike Johnson shared stories of his conversations with Donald Trump and took the time to do his best impression of the former president. The breakfast was ahead of the fourth and final day of the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee, where Trump will deliver a speech Thursday night, his first since the assassination attempt to almost ended his life during a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania over the weekend. Reports indicate Trump has changed his speech to include a message of unity, as he accepts the Republican nomination to take on President Joe Biden in November. Earlier this week, on day one of the RNC, Trump announced Sen. JD Vance of Ohio as his running mate.
