Welcome to Baby Bandstand’s FIRST WORDS Baby Challenge Song! In this learning video for babies, Ms. Alyssa sings a fun song (to the tune of "Wheels on the Bus") as she introduces some first words your baby might say! How many can your baby say?! (Most children speak their first words around 12 months.) Ms. Alyssa also uses basic sign language for each word! Teaching your baby sign language can help promote speech & language! In this video, Ms. Alyssa will be helping your baby learn their first words and sounds through fun and interactive songs and gestures. After the baby challenge song, we'll sing "Old MacDonald Had a Farm", Play Peek-A-Boo! and end with a sing-along of "Five Green and Speckled Frogs". FIRST WORDS in the BABY CHALLENGE: MAMA DADA HI NO YES MILK MORE BALL PEEK-A-BOO! STOP GO YUM UH-OH! BUBBLE UP & DOWN ALL DONE BYE BYE Your baby will learn important developmental milestones such as their first words, including common words such as "mama" and "dada", and gestures such as waving and pointing.
