Have to re-use 4 of the old nuts. Could have just been a discrepancy in my kit. No biggie. Another Mr. Garage random project completed. Sick and tired of being embarrassed with the excessively noisy suspension on our 2018 Apex Nano 193BHS travel trailer, I found a greasable wet bolt kit that I am told will eliminate the squeaks and creaks. Before this kit, our newer trailer sounded like it had just been pulled out of a salvage yard after 50 years. Sounded worse than nails on a chalkboard. Now, she is silky smooth and quiet! At 8:26 in the video. I discovered a very poorly engineered portion of our lippert chassis. Complete crap in fact to the point I consider it dangerous if you put a lot of miles on the smaller series frames. Frames commonly used on little travel trailers. If you are one of those that take their trailer out every month or less, do not bat an eye. For those DIY people... something to keep in mind and resolve. Will post a video when I do mine. May be a while before I get back to it. So much to do. This is a great kit which can be ordered for single axle trailers like ours, tandem and even triple axle trailers. Highly recommended! The sumo springs shown are PN TSS-105-40 for this axle setup. ✩ All Mr. Garage videos are for educational, inspirational and DIY purposes.
