Have you heard of Strong Customer Authentication (SCA) yet? 🔐 It’s a requirement of the EU Revised Directive on Payment Services (PSD2), which ensures that electronic payments are protected by multi-factor authentication. In order to process electronic payments with the SumUp Card, we’ll also ask you to set up PSD2 Strong Customer Authentication for your card. To do so, open the SumUp App on your phone and tap “Account”. Hit the settings icon and open “Account security”. Then tap the “SCA” toggle to enable the security feature. We will then automatically send you a verification code, that you’ll have to enter in the app screen, and hit “Confirm”. Now you can enable push notifications and also set up face ID or fingerprint login. Done! You’re all set and will be able to confirm future purchases in the app. For further details on how to set up Strong Customer Authentication for your SumUp Card, read the Support Centre article SumUp Card: ["Strong Customer Authentication" - https://go.sumup.co.uk/0d4855] Have you seen any of our other “How to” videos? 👀 If you’d like to find out how to send money with the SumUp Business Account, view our video: [“How to send money with the SumUp Business Account“ - https://youtu.be/JpFZ1n7oRGI].
