The new Navi cards will have a new naming scheme that we actually have not heard before,it will not be the RX 3000 series but rather the RX 5000 line of GPU’s. Looks like they 3 upped Nvidia on that one! Lisa says this was done because it's their 50th anniversary so 5000 made sense. They had a benchmark running of strange brigade running on the RX 5000 and they placed it against the RTX 2070. In this specific benchmark, the RX 5000 beats the RTX 2070 by 10% on average. The cards will be available for purchase in July. We were then referred to E3, for the rest of the information. That’s all we got for Navi.. nothing more. At least what we can tell is that this RX 5000 card is likely the one we heard about when the Sapphire employee spilled the beans on Navi although the fact that it beat the RTX 2070 by such a small margin is kind of concerning. ————————————————————————————————— TODAY'S DOSE OF TECH NEWS SOURCES ————————————————————————————————— AMD’s Computex Stream : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jy0Q75xCwDU ——————————————————— About Boot Sequence: Snows and the rest of the Boot Sequence team are here to bring you the latest breaking Tech News.
