Well, studies have shown that, while most of us consider being bored not pleasurable at all, it has quite a few advantages. Increased creativity and future planning are a couple of important ones. When we feel bored frequently, it comes with negative feelings : poor performance at work and in social settings, anxiety and even depression. If we notice ourselves being bored often, then we need to do something about it. In this video, I share a list of advantages that boredom brings, and also what to do when what we experience is chronic boredom.
