Help! I’ve Been Put Into LinkedIn Jail [LinkedIn Account Restriction] Do You Need Help Getting out, contact me! If you are using LinkedIn for lead generation, you cannot afford a LinkedIn account restriction as it significantly curtails your Lead generation and marketing. Landing yourself in “LinkedIn jail” is a serious matter, I’ve been there myself several times and it is very stressful! However, there is hope that you can have the restriction lifted. Should the worst happen and you land in LinkedIn jail, I am going to share with you how to get out and also how to avoid it in the first place. It is also incredibly important to be respectful in every interaction you have with other LinkedIn members. There are even a set of LinkedIn Professional Community Policies that you are expected to abide by. Here are examples of conduct or activity that may result in your account being restricted: An unusually large number of page views from the account. The name used in the account profile is in violation of the User Agreement. ( like using the word LinkedIn in your profile name) They’ve detected inappropriate or illegal activity on the account. ( Like you’re using a spot or software to send out thousands of messages every single month, and then someone possibly reporting you for sending out Spammy sales messages. A history of repetitive abusive behaviour on the account. LinkedIn has their own bots trolling the LinkedIn network and if they’ve detected that the account may have been hacked or compromised. ( This could be from your VA, in India or the Philippines, logging into your account) Depending on the violation, you may have the content removed or your account restricted. One of the most challenging things I find about restrictions on LinkedIn is they don’t tell you, until someone emails you are calls you on the phone that they can’t see Your LinkedIn account anymore. More severe violations can actually have your account restricted indefinitely. To get your account unrestricted the first thing you want to do is if you can’t log in you’re going to have to provide some kind of ID to them, Driver’s license or a passport photo. The next thing you want to do, if you still can log into your account but others can't see it and send them a support ticket request. Under your drop-down menu ( your pic at the top right) , you’ll see the help menu link, I usually open this up in a new window to make it easier to navigate. Then after inputting what your problem is like “Account Restriction) Eventually, at the bottom of the page, you’ll see the link to get help from us. And then he going to ask them why you got restricted and asked them to unrestricted you. Usually, it's not an actual physical person doing this as far as restricting your account it's the LinkedIn Matrix (As I like to call it) If you found this video helpful please like sharing, and as always and have a great day! #Linkedinjail #Linkedinrestriction #linkedinviolation
