This ring had been repaired multiple times by a previous jeweler. Unfortunately when a ring breaks under the diamonds and it gets soldered back together that spot will always be a vulnerable spot and will likely break again in the future. This one had that happen in four spots and was missing three diamonds. I told the customer that I could fix it and make it look good again but it’s going to be prone to break again. She said that’s okay because she wants her husband to buy her a new ring with a bigger diamond anyway.
