Through a combination of class work at Pellissippi State Community College in Knoxville, TN, and hands on training at DOE's Manufacturing Demonstration Laboratory at Oak Ridge National Laboratory, interns receive training in skills like 3D printing which are designed to prepare them for a career in the fast-growing field of advanced manufacturing.
