To do so simply hover over the Users menu item on the left hand side of the WordPress admin menu and then click on All Users. You will be presented with a list of all users on your WordPress site. Next, find the user who's profile you wish to edit and then hover over their user name. You will see a Edit link appear below their name. On the next page you will see all of the available user profile settings and this is the page that allows you to update WordPress user profile. The first option you will see on the page is called Visual Editor. When this box is checked you will be able to use both the Visual Editor (WYSIWYG) and the HTML editor when creating WordPress pages or posts. Unchecked that box and only the HTML editor will be available to use. Next, you have some color options for the admin area of your site. Following that you can enable keyboard short cuts. This is great if you are a power user and want to speed up your content creation process. The option below that is the Toolbar. When you are logged into a WordPress site a dark gray toolbar is displayed at all times at the very top of the page. Uncheck the Toolbar box to hide this bar. Following the WordPress Toolbar option you will be able to edit the first name, last name, nickname, and display name of the user. Unfortunately, the username cannot be changed via the admin panel once the user is created. After the basic user info you can edit their contact info by including or updating their email address and their website. This video shows a set of social media fields that are specific to the theme that was installed and may not be displayed in your user profile settings page. You can also update the password and the WordPress user role for that user. When you are done simply click the Save Settings button to save all the changes you made.
