Today marks the 45th anniversary of the Tangshan earthquake, Hebei Province. We still remember the people who lost their lives, and the heroes who helped others, and won't forget them. On July 28th, 1976, an earthquake measuring between 7.8 and 8.2 magnitudes on the Richter scale flattened the industrial city of Tangshan. An estimated 242,000 people were killed, making the earthquake one of the deadliest in recorded history.
