Donald L. Kohn, Senior Fellow, Brookings Institution & Former Vice Chairman, The Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve, interviews Honorable Paul A. Volcker, Twelfth Chairman, Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System, as part of the Paul Volcker Scholarship Award ceremony. The George Washington University Law School and its Center for Law, Economics & Finance (C-LEAF) are pleased to announce the establishment of the Paul A. Volcker Scholarship Award program. Under this new program, Volcker Scholarship Awards will be given each year to talented GW Law students from diverse backgrounds who intend to pursue public service careers in the field of financial regulation and who demonstrate a strong need for scholarship assistance. GW Law and C-LEAF expect that these new scholarship awards will encourage highly promising GW Law students to spend a significant portion of their careers in financial regulatory agencies, in accordance with the ideals of public service and stewardship that Chairman Volcker has exemplified throughout his career.
