This is the videogame incarnation of the Viva La Dirt League world, developed by FusionPlay and published by Team17. Set in the stereotypical RPG world of Azerim, filled to the brim with Adventurers completing quests and gathering loot. The player controls Baelin, a fisherman NPC with three lines of dialogue and nothing else on his mind but fish. Until one day a glitch is triggered, leading to all Adventurers disappearing without a trace while Baelin himself is unexpectedly promoted to Adventurer! As great evil continues to roam the land, Azerim's fate is now solely in Baelin's hands (and fishing rod). ~Full disclosure, I'm completely unfamiliar with the source material for this game, so all of my impressions come from a clean slate, and any and all references will 110% go over my head 😳 I'm not usually big on games parodying genres, but this one commits just enough to be funny without overindulging in it.
