The Globe and Mail Centre designed by Diamond Schmitt Architects received the REX Award for Office Development of the Year 2018 in Toronto. The building design features dramatically shifting floor plates that create a rhythmic sequence of cantilevered viewing terraces on all sides. This innovative design feature for an office building provides the structure with a distinctive and contemporary profile. Ten-foot-high windows maximize views and are calibrated to provide crisp expression to the building’s innovative form.
