CNBC Today As NVIDIA China Sales Resume, NVIDIA Stock New All-Time High - NVDA Update Hosts of CNBC discuss NVIDIA, NVIDIA stock (NVDA stock), and NVIDIA China chip sales being allowed to resume. NVIDIA announced in a blog post overnight that the US has assured the company that it will approve licenses for NVIDIA to sell H20 chips to China. This is massively positive for NVIDIA. NVIDAI would have guided Q2 revenue $8 billion higher (nearly 18% higher) if there was no export control. And now that the export control is gone, NVIDIA is looking at tens of billions of dollars in additional revenue that analysts had zeroed out of their estimates after Jensen Huang recently told us that NVIDIA was assuming zero China revenue moving forward. Looking ahead, market participants will now begin to shift their focus toward hyperscaler earnings, with Alphabet scheduled to kick things off next week when they report earnings on July 23 after market close. I expect Meta to provide strong CapEx guidance given yesterday's news, wherein Meta announced it wants to spend hundreds of billions of dollars on compute buildout over the coming years with multiple multi-gigawatt datacenters. (A single 1-gigawatt datacenter leads to tens of billions of dollars in revenue for NVIDIA). I also expect Alphabet to provide strong CapEx guidance given the recent success of Google's Veo 3.
