Rochester, N.Y. (WHAM) — Retired Rochester Police Sgt. Tony Bongiovanni now lives in the Los Angeles area, where raging wildfires have destroyed thousands of acres of land, homes and businesses this week. Wednesday night, he took a drive through Altadena. "It's nighttime, so you can't see it as much as you can in the daytime," said Bongiovanni. "In the daytime, it looks like a bomb dropped, and there's a huge cloud, like coming from a volcano."
