First, let's talk about what exactly FICA documents are. These are essential documents that prove to the bank that you are who you say you are. FICA documents typically include two main items: 1. Your ID or Passport – This proves your identity. 2. Proof of Address – This verifies where you live. When you're registering for PayPal, FNB will eventually ask you to submit these FICA documents. Here's how to do it. Step-by-Step Guide to Upload Your FICA Documents on FNB 1.Open the FNB App: First, you'll need to have the FNB app installed on your mobile phone. Log into your FNB account through the app. 2. Navigate to 'My Profile': Once logged in, look for the menu option and select 'My Profile.' The app has been updated, so 'My Profile' might appear at the bottom of the screen, but it should also be available in the menu. 3. Select Your Account: After clicking on 'My Profile,' choose the account you want to update. You might have more than one account, such as a personal and a business account. Click on the relevant account. 4. Update Personal Info: Under 'Personal Info,' you'll find sections for your name, ID number, profile picture, ID details, additional details, contact details, address, and citizenship details. 5. Upload Your Documents: Follow the prompts to upload your proof of address and ID or passport. Once you've submitted these details, you're all set. It may take 2 to 3 days for FNB to approve your documents.
