In this video I'm going to show you "How to Make Air Layering in Guava Tree". Air layering is a method of propagating new trees and shrubs from stems still attached to the parent plant. The stem is wrapped with damp coco peat or other media to encourage roots to form. Air layering is an effective propagation method for some plants that do not root readily from cuttings and which often lack low-growing shoots suitable for conventional layering, such as magnolia, hazel, Cotinus and flowering Cornus species. air layering is also known as “Goottee” which is mainly practiced during rainy season (June to September) because of high rooting and survival of layers. Following this steps make easyly air layering in guava tree. #airlayering #greenbengal
