Meet West Yellowstone's newest Keeper Kids! This phenomenal educational program at the West Yellowstone Grizzly & Wolf Discovery Center costs just a few dollars and was a wonderful learning experience for our two kids, aged 5 and 9. After exploring the park, which included an amazing display of wolves and their history in Yellowstone, we met up with a staff member that taught the kids all about bears. They were able to touch bear claws and learn about their strengths. Following the class, the kids were given very clear instructions about how they would be safely entering the bear exhibit with buckets of food to hide for the resident bears. Since we didn't see any bears or wolves during our time inside Yellowstone National Park, this was the perfect way to learn more about these animals that call this place home. I'd highly recommend a stop next time you are in the area!
