To do this you put a uncoloured circle at -2 and an arrow pointing right. This is because you need all of the numbers which are larger than -2. In example 2, you need to represent x is less than and equal to 3 on a number line. To do this you put a coloured circle at 3 on the number line and an arrow pointing to the left. This is because you need all of the numbers less than or equal to 3.
