Things to do in Tashkent 🇺🇿 ✨Breakfast at Syrovarnya✨ I ordered cottage cheese with berries & omelet with mortadella and avocado. It’s my first time eating cottage cheese like yogurt, and to be honest it did not taste like cottage cheese and was very delicious. The omelet was too oily / fried for my personal preference and there was too little avocado ✨Amir Temur Square✨ This square features a prominent equestrian statue of Amir Temur, a 14th century ruler who founded the Timurid Empire. The square is surrounded by several landmarks including the Tashkent Chimes, Uzbekistan Hotel and the State Museum of the Temurids. There’s nothing much to do here but take a photo of the view ✨State Museum of the Temurids✨ This museum is dedicated to the Timurid Dynasty. It has an impressive blue-domed roof on the outside and a massive chandelier on the inside. It showcases weapons, armour, coins and portrait from that era. I thought it was quite a boring museum and the only appeal was the chandelier on the inside ✨Tashkent Metro✨ This metro is the first to open in Central Asia in 1977. It was built during the Soviet era and is know for its architectural beauty inside each station. I went to the Mustakillik Maydoni, Paxtakor and Alisher Navoiy stations which featured beautiful interiors.
