The Coastal Pacific train returns this summer (2018) for a limited season! The Coastal Pacific journeys along the beautiful eastern coastline of the South Island, taking in the soaring Southern Alps on one side and the sweeping Pacific Ocean on the other. The train runs from Christchurch to Picton, with options to stop in the charming coastal town of Kaikoura for whale watching or swimming with dolphins and Blenheim, so you can explore the Marlborough vineyards.
