A day in the life of a mom of 3 and self-employed global high performance coach. From analyzing milliseconds of drag coefficients in the pool to negotiating bedtime with a toddler… 😮💨 A day in the life of a global performance coach and mom of 3 (including an infant and a toddler!). Hit save if you're a multi-tasking parent building an empire in the cracks of the day. 🚀 The Body: People always ask me how I manage a global sports performance business while raising three young kids. The short answer? You choose purpose over perfect balance. Here is what a typical, beautiful, chaotic day looks like around here: 🌅 MORNINGS: In the Lab & Poolside This is where the high-touch, deep-dive biomechanical audits happen. I’m working poolside with local athletes, analyzing video tech, and breaking down movement patterns in the performance lab to strip away drag and maximize speed. 💻 AFTERNOONS: Going Global The headset goes on and the business shifts from local to global. My afternoon roster spans from the US and Canada over to the UK, Europe, and down to Australia. I’m running remote rehab programming, reviewing race-pace metrics, and coaching high-performance triathletes and marathon swimmers worldwide. 🏋️♀️ THE IN-BETWEEN: Squeezing in the training If I’m coaching high performance, I have to keep my own engine running. I grab my own workouts whenever and wherever I can—even if it’s just a 30-minute window between client calls. 🏡 EVENINGS: The Second Shift The second I walk through the front door, the coach headset comes off. It is 100% family time. Toddler negotiations, rocking the baby, family dinner, and just being fully present with my husband and three kids. The Takeaway: Is it a lot? Every single day. But building a business with international reach while raising a young family means leaning into the chaos and loving every minute of the juggle. 👇 Let’s chat in the comments: Swimmers, triathletes, or fellow multi-tasking parents—how are you squeezing your goals into the schedule this week?
