A lot of photography talk is about accurate focusing. But why not let your focusing run wild and see what happens. I argue that in some situations wrong focusing could actually improve your photography. The abstract nature of these photos can have even more impact. I call this intentionally out of focus photography – whether you got your focus wrong intentionally or it just happened. Photography is a visual art, so don’t let anyone tell you how to focus.
