Get your own Apple Silicone Case by using this link: https://mreh.ca/401zn2R *This is an Amazon affiliate link that will bring you to the right Amazon store for your location #ReviewerNotInfluencer #Reviews #iPhone In this video: 0:00 Intro 0:11 Design 1:12 Usability & MagSafe 2:32 Protection 3:35 Cost & Value Apple Silicone Case Review -It's a typical silicone case -Lots of colors to choose from -iPhone lays in a bed of microfiber -Microfiber goes all the way up the edge of the case, most don't go that far -Pretty noticeable seam on the middle of the case -Apple's figured out the right amount of stickiness to their case -One of the best handling cases I've ever used -Lightweight, barely there case -One of the better thing cases I've used -So here's something I never realized about this case -The corners of this case are dual layered -There's a bit of silicone wrapped around PC shell -technically tri-layered if you include the microfiber but I don't think fuzzy cloth provides much drop protection -Which results in slightly above average drop protection -And that's despite having corners that are only 1.5mm thick -The initial impact is a hair above average -And most of the resultant force gets transferred to the case, rather than the iPhone -this was a really surprising outcome for me -look at me, being a reviewer -for screen protection, the case is terrible -took 27N to pop the corner off, average is 50ish -and this is surprising given how rigid the case edges are -There's about 1.5mm of clearance between the iPhone and case edge so you have lots of space for a screen protector and not have it eat dirt all the time -Drops on rough surfaces are going to scuff the case up -Case will tend to rip -Case won't slide around easily -Takes less than 5N to rotate MagSafe accessories -MagSafe strength just on the case is below average -Case is so thin that magnets from the iPhone make the connection stronger -Buttons are integrated into the case -Feel almost like flow-through buttons, they work really well -Port cutout is a bit on the small size -Camera button is covered, works well -Because of the silicone finish, fingers don't slide as well on the camera button -Apple's button is unique as there is a bit of vertical travel on the button, other's don't so it presses a bit easier -low case edges, screen access is decent -Expensive for what it is but the quality is there -One of the tougher thin cases out there
