🔥INSTANT PEPPER RASAM 🍅 This instant pepper rasam is sure to be an INSTANT HIT!!!! 15 minutes is all it takes to make, no need for any sambar or rasam powder and it is just amazing if you have a sore throat or even a cold. Instant Pepper Rasam is a spicy, tangy, Rasam made with fresh tomatoes, black peppercorns, garlic and a little kokum for that tangy flavour & is absolutely amazing. The heartwarming comfort of this Rasam is such a mood 🔥 Ingredients: * 2 large Tomatoes boiled & pureed * Fresh Dhania leaves a handful (chopped) * 1 tbsp ghee * 2-3 Kokum (or tamarind) * For the spice mix - * 2 tsp jeera seeds * 2-3 tsp black peppercorns * 2 springs of curry leaves * 3-4 pods of garlic * Salt: to taste * 1/2 tsp Haldi | Turmeric * Water: 2 cups Method: * Dry roast jeera seeds, and black peppercorns for 2-3 mins, then add curry leaves and grind this into a coarse powder. Add the garlic pods and grind this into a paste, no need to add water * Boil, remove the skin of the tomatoes and roughly blend & keep this aside * In a large pan, add pureed tomatoes, the kokum soaked in water, salt and haldi and bring to a boil. Then add the ground paste and let this boil for 4-5 minutes * Add fresh dhania, a spoon of ghee Your Pepper Rasam is ready!
