Various of luxury cars being towed out of the parking lot of the Tate's residence STORYLINE: Romanian authorities on Saturday descended on Andrew Tate’s large home near the capital Bucharest to tow away a fleet of luxury automobiles, days after the divisive influencer was placed under house arrest after new human trafficking allegations emerged involving minors. The confiscation of vehicles comes after masked officers raided four homes in Bucharest and nearby Ilfov county and detained six people including Tate, 37, and his brother Tristan Tate, 36. During the raids, 16 luxury vehicles were identified among other assets including thousands of dollars in cash, laptops and data storage drives. The fleet of luxury motors towed away included a Ferrari, a Lamborghini, a Mercedes-Benz, McLaren and a more humble-looking classic red Lada. It is unclear who legally owns the vehicles or whether they are leased. Romania’s anti-organized crime agency, DIICOT, said after the raids they would use them as an “insurance seizure” in the new legal case.
