This got me thinking. Which merch is the rarest? I’ll start out simple and after get to the juicy stuff. So the most popular, “rare” merch thats fans might have is anything from around the pilot era, before the show was picked up. These are retired items that aren’t sold anymore, so the only way to get them is to buy them off someone else. These are really cool because the characters are in their old designs. They’re also popular because they were around before the show gained mass popularity so they’re somewhat rare, but also very desirable especially the pins. If we check ebay the most expensive individual pin sold in the last 3 years was the valentines day 2019 angel dust pin which sold for 329 pounds. Moving up a tier, we have anything from viv’s cancelled projects like zoophobia, allison or timber. All of these items are retired, and these projects weren’t as big as hazbin or helluva. However since they weren’t as popular, they aren’t worth as much. We saw this recently when some spare damian zoophobia pins appeared again on sharkrobot, they were last sold in 2020. And the absolute rarest, are the stuff from vivzie’s irl convention appearances. Most of these were sold between 2015 and 2018. The holy grail being viv’s spam print from new york comic con in 2011.
