Three offers rescinded last week because candidates lied during the application process. This is what a VP of recruiting posted on their LinkedIn page warning candidates to please stop lying on their resumes, applications or interviews. It is simply not worth it. Some think companies don’t run background checks BUT they do and they will find out if you lied about titles, employment dates, companies you worked at, eligibility for rehire, education level, amongst other things.
