Tesla's long standing, and often changing referral program has finally returned in full force. From early on, Tesla offered a referral program that incentivized both buyer and referrer to bring Tesla new vehicle sales. The last referral program Tesla had was for 1,000 Supercharging miles for both the referrer and the buyer on Model 3, Model Y, Model S and Model X. That has been gone now for some time and the Tesla Solar products are the only ones that have had referral awards since then. Tesla has finally updated their referral program that now includes cars once again. The Tesla Model Y and Model 3 will get you 2k referral credits, Model S and Model X will get you 3.5k referral credits and the solar products will get you 9k referral credits. The referral credits are also tiered, where the referrer makes slightly more than the buyer, but a returning customer would get the most, as they would get both the referrer points and the buyer points when buying a Model Y, Model 3, Model S or Model X. These referral credits can be used like Tesla credits. You can purchase limited merchandise, accessories for your car, charging equipment and even software upgrades. The acceleration boost comes in at 9.5k credits, EAP for 55k credits and FSD for a whopping 120k credits.
