I went solo camping in summer to reset my nervous system because I have been feeling a little burnt out after working at full capacity throughout January. This trip was a haven for my sensitive, introverted soul and it reminded me that presence and rest are so productive. I spent hours outdoors painting, reading by the river, singing to myself (and the birds and butterflies), making yummy meals, journaling by the fire and reflecting on the month just passed. Both nature and solitude are truly so healing to me and my cup felt so full as I packed my tent down after two nights of solo camping. These summer days alone by the river feel nostalgic in my heart already. I hope I can digitally transmit some of these feelings of calm through this video.
