This means that if action is not taken on the debt limit, the Treasury will be unable to meet its financial obligations by mid-October, according to the Bipartisan Policy Center (BPC). In this online webinar Shai Akabas, the director of economic policy for the BPC, will discuss why federal policymakers need to act in the coming weeks if they intend to ensure that all obligations of the U.S. government are paid in full and on time. Brian Madigan will moderate the conversation.
