These videos transform existing footage through the use of editing, professional voice artists, and heavy effects work (in After Effects). These videos take many weeks of editing to create. I take existing content and transform it into an entirely original fictional film. Unfortunately that this movie WON'T be coming to a cinema anytime soon. This video took a LONG time to create. It's a super effects heavy trailer. Every shot had to have the audio synced from a different film and backgrounds removed. I'm really happy with the way this trailer turned out. It's one of my strongest narratives and most creative works. I can't believe I have to say it, but this video is a parody of the film Cast Away. Get it? Cast Away, Last Play.... Tom Hanks voices the character of Woody and also plays the central character in Cast Away. I thought it would be a fun idea to combine both films and mimick the Cast Away storyling with Toy Story characters. The final shot with the reveal of Woody (and his beard) is a shot for shot recreation of the iconic scene from Cast Away.
