Educational video for children that talks about what tornadoes are. A tornado is a tube-shaped mass of moving air that rotates at a high speed. It is usually wider at the top and narrower at the bottom, where it touches the ground. Tornadoes do not usually last long, ranging from a few minutes to a little more than an hour. They usually travel several miles before disappearing, sweeping away everything in their path. The winds that produce tornadoes can reach speeds of over 300 miles per hour and their average diameter is usually about 250 feet, although they can be much larger. This video is a very useful and interesting resource for children. It is perfect for teaching about tornadoes and an excellent video for elementary education. Thanks for visiting us!
