President Donald Trump said he would meet with former Federal Reserve Governor Kevin Warsh as he searches for the next chair of the central bank. Trump said he is looking for somebody that will be honest with interest rates and that his view is that the rate should be much lower. Trump has said he will soon announce his choice for Fed chair, but has cautioned that could slip into early 2026.
