If there is one restaurant that you should add to your London bucket list and actually worth the 40-minute trip to Richmond, this is it. 🌸🍃🥰 Petersham Nurseries is a place in the outskirts of London where you can browse for plants for your garden, enjoy afternoon tea or a cake or two, or visit their magnificent restaurant, which is located in one of their greenhouses. The restaurant is stunning and filled with light and greenery. You can choose between a two or three course set menu, and from there select between starters, main dishes and desserts. Everything is locally produced and the menu change with the season. It is on the more expensive side and it turned out to be our most expensive meal in London, but I must say that I really enjoyed the experience and that the value for money was still relatively good considering the beautiful experience that we had. The staff is very attentive and knowledgeable. They really know how to make you feel welcome, add a personal touch and give you an experience to remember. So far, I haven’t even mentioned the food, but it was one of the most delicious meals that I’ve had in a long time. Everything from the burrata for starter, my lamb for the main course, and my vanilla cheesecake with lemon curd and lemon thyme was out of this world and I really wish it was easier to come back for another delicious experience. 🥰 Reservations are recommended but the availability is good if you book a week or two ahead of your intended visit. 🥂 Would you like to visit this restaurant? Make sure to save this reel for a future London trip! 🌸🍃 #london #england #londonfood #londontips #petershamnurseries #dametravelerfoodie #countryside #britishcountryside #petersham #richmond #surrey #traveltips #bestfood #delicious #finedining
