My opinion this is a long term buy, Invest at your own risk Lordstown Motors: DiamondPeak Holdings Corp (SPAC reverse Merger) After the merger, the new ticker symbol will be RIDE on Nasdaq later 2020 Ohio based automaker who will compete directly with ford & GM They will produce the Endurance pick up 600hp pick up truck intended for WORK Deliveries will start in 2021 price starting at 52k before credits Notable investors: GM, Fidelity Mang, Black Rock Lordstown, OH complex 6.2 million sq ft near ready for production Estimated production capacity 600k / 900k f-150 52 wk low 9.50 / high 31.80 currently 25.19 Upside: if they capture a small portion the Pickup & fleet its an 800 billion dollar market - they already have over 1.5 billion of pre-orders Risks: No earnings as of yet, very speculative My opinion long term buy Nikola: ticker symbol NKLA Us based EV & Hydrogen but natural gas at first……. Auto theorist (lol) They came into the market a few years ago offering an alternative to diesel-powered semi long haul trucks, at first they claimed natural gas then changed to Hydrogen gas More recently they claim to have an EV or Fuel Cell Electric pickup truck The problem with them is that it does have any products, It started with the semi-truck, then pivoted to pick trucks, then off-road vehicles and I’m just scratching the surface. I will do a full video on the Nikola saga Most recently Nikola entered into a production deal with GM GM takes 11% claim in Nikola GM gets to add 1 board member GM gets 700 million to produce the badger GM will use their tech, factories, and engineering GM will sell the trucks to Nikola, then Nikola will resell Nikola is a drop shipper…… they are adding nothing 52 week low 10.20 / high 93.99 currently 28.51 Upside: Founder Trevor Milton is gone, GM is now very influential Risk: The damage caused by the Former Chief Ex-Chairman may be too much to unravel My opinion…..RUN!!!! Workhorse Group: (NASDAQ: WKHS) Ohio based last-mile EV delivery truck publicly traded since 2014 June of this year the stock exploded due to a pending USPS 6 billion dollar contract that is up for grabs. The announcement will be made most likely this month so this could still have a massive impact on the stock price or it could sell-off. What makes workhorse unique it that it uses a drone (appropriately named the horsefly) alongside its delivery vehicles to make deliveries Notable investors: Blackrock, vanguard & many more. But there are a ton of individual stockholders as well its top 100 stocks on Robinhood Upside: if they get the USPS contract the company will gain more clientele because of a proven track record Downside: if they get the contract they will be building the EV at cost or at a loss unless they find a way to be more efficient.
