This time, Tyler and I went on our first trip to Walt Disney World to celebrate his birthday, equipped with Genie passes to skip the lines. Little did we know that our magical adventure would bring tears of joy🥹! Since it was a last-minute trip, we relied on Mouse Dining to secure reservations. We kicked off our day by driving from St. Augustine to Orlando in the early morning and hopped between Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom. While both parks were incredible, I highly recommend Epcot and Animal Kingdom for a more mature experience (more quality food, less kids, drinks) HOTEL RECOMMENDATION: During my previous stay, Lauren & I enjoyed the Beach Club Resort, a deluxe resort located in the Epcot resort area. Inspired by New England beach cottages, the decor features pastel colors, wooden accents, and charming white picket fences. Being so close to the boardwalk and Epcot was the best and I’d reccomend staying here again. After enjoying teacup rides, Winnie the Pooh adventure, and witnessing a vibrant parade, we refuelled with chicken fingers and went on an enchanting climb up the Swiss Family Robinson Tree House, offering breathtaking views! And of course, a visit to Magic Kingdom is incomplete without indulging in the delicious Dole Whip! 🍍highly recommend🍍 In Adventureland, we experienced the amazing Pirates of the Caribbean ride, ( we used our FastPass to bypass the wait again here!)The realistic animatronics truly made us feel like we were sailing the high seas alongside not-so-pretty pirates. Don't forget to keep an eye out for scented ears while shopping—they smell absolutely delightful! Plus, the new Little Mermaid dolls are simply beautiful. I couldn't resist picking up Ariel and Eric! THE INCREDIBLE ANIMAL KINGDOM: Our day continued with the Kilimanjaro Safari, a must-do attraction that allowed us to get up close and personal with giraffes, elephants, ostriches, and more. While the wait for Avatar Flight of Passage was long, opting for the add-on FastPass was an absolute game-changer. This 3D ride simulated a flight through Pandora and left me so moved that... I shed tears tehe. We concluded our day trip at Tiffin's, where the lobster mac and cheese stole the show! Booking with Mouse dining was perfect for this!
