Well, we finally found out why so many cat people's apartments have that dreaded "cat" smell... Spoiler alert: it's not the cat's fault. Sorry to break the hard news, but humans are most often the reason for a stinky litter box because they're simply not cleaning it often enough. It's super important to clean your cats litter box daily to avoid unwanted odors. Not only that, but cats are very clean creatures, so they would much more enjoy doing their business in a clean litter box rather than one that's filled with stinky waste. If you're letting the state of the litter box worsen day after day, your home will inevitably start to smell and your cat might become unhappy.
