Polestar jumped out of the gate with a fun to drive compact sedan in the Polestar 2, but there has long been a problem: Range. Fortunately Polestar is a company that isn't afraid to do things differently so after giving a "long range" FWD model a whirl for a year, they decided to go back to basics and drop an all-new motor in the back, a bigger battery under the floor, and refocus everything on efficiency. The result is a long range model capable of real-world 300 miles of driving (320 EPA) and a 2-motor AWD model with a solid 275 miles of range. If you're looking for a fun EV sedan with a bit of personality, check out the Polestar 2... But, you should also check out the refreshed Model 3 and the BMW i4 because it's a cut throat market and the Polestar doesn't excel at everything...
