Everything NEW About The 2025 Tesla Model Y! Tesla is rolling out two updated Model Y models in 2025 - one five-seater nicknamed Juniper is expected to arrive in the first quarter of 2025, with a seven-seater following by year’s end—if the rumors hold true. Performance figures Alright, so you’re ready to pick your 2025 Model Y, but which one? It all comes down to these 3 factors: price, range and performance - and in what order they matter to you. If you put speed first, the Model Y All-Wheel Drive Performance trim should be on your radar. With 456 hp and 497 lb-ft of torque, it will go from 0 to 60 mph in just 3.5 seconds. As for range, you’re looking at around 279 miles per charge. However, if you want more range, the Long Range Rear-Wheel Drive trim will carry you for about 320 miles on a single charge, while delivering a still-respectable 0-60 mph time of just 6.5 seconds. There’s also a third option - the Long Range All-Wheel Drive mode, which can go for about 308 miles on a single charge and sprint from 0 to 60 mph in about 4.8 seconds. Sounds like the perfect compromise! Now, if you’re a true Tesla fan, you might expect to also find a base Standard Range Rear-Wheel Drive trim in the configurator, but not anymore. It seems that one is gone from Tesla’s website, and we can only guess why. Maybe it was not selling as well as the other trims or Tesla wanted to create some breathing space in their lineup between the Model 3 and the Model Y, or a new trim is almost ready to join the lineup. Tesla is always very secretive about new updates, but rumor has it that the 2025 Model Y will get an even sportier performance model, much like the Model X Plaid, that will take on some heavyweights of the industry, such as the Kia EV6 GT or the Ford Mustang Mach-E GT in terms of performance. But right now, the Model Y already outpaces the Mach-E and Volkswagen ID.4 when it comes to range, as both the Long Range and Performance versions share the same 82-kWh battery and dual-motor setup. #2025teslamodely #EV
