The Last Jedi Teaser trailer was great, but there was 'so much more' I would have loved to have seen. This animation started as a an 'eye candy' project to satisfy my need to create Star Wars related stuff. But one thing led to another and it got more involved and more time consuming. There was a version which had unicorns in it! but It was suggested I had gone too far and so I needed to re-think that scene. This Star Wars Parody of The Last Jedi Trailer was created in Toon Boom Harmony, which is my go-to 2D Animation software as it has a lot of time saving features that apps like Flash 'Animate' doesn't have. The Last Jedi trailer didn't give too much away so I improvised with a few things Iw oddly like to see, such as Rey using her staff as a dual lightsaber which would be great. Although from what I see of the leaked Star Wars photos, she is almost certainly going to be using Luke Skywalkers lightsaber, but would have been great to have mastered her own creation. The 2D Animation and scene changes was done to time in with the music, to help make it look convincing. I threw Jar Jar Binks in their from Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace, as you can always animated something quite whacky with him. Plus I felt the scene with the vehicle throwing out red smoke hitting the ground look like a drunk driver, so who better than Jar jar to be driving!
