International media has been very unkind to Indian media by not giving it space and trying to put it down for the longest time when it comes to transparency and other kinds of aspects. But we in the Indian media, feel very strongly about it because the media played a very significant role in the formation of the country, in the way the country has bounced back, and in how India has seen 75 years of democracy. At one point in history, we had to sell all our gold reserves to survive, but now we have the largest social food security program in the world, which India is running. feeding more than 800 million people on a daily basis, which is the biggest program in the world. During the entire pandemic, India managed to manufacture and sell 2 billion corona vaccines for its people and to the rest of the world. So, it is a big shift from where India was to now. I was a part of it and got a chance to see it.
